Basic Digital Photo Editing

Course III---Class Size 9

8 hours---4 sessions

 

Prerequisites

1.     Answering yes to most of the ten (10) skills in Skills Inventory to Determine Readiness for Basic Digital Photo Editing”.

2.     Do need basic word processing skills

 

 

Course Content:

 

1.     Access photos to edit

 

2.     Crop a picture.

 

3.     Straighten a picture.

 

4.     Enhance a picture (brightness, contrast, color, shadows, red eye…).

 

5.     Add text to a picture.

 

6.     Add a colored border around a picture.

 

7.     Fix imperfections in a picture using clone, smudge, brush….tools.

 

8.     Copy a part of one image onto another image

 

9.     Insert a photo into a letter or card.

 

10.     Print a photo to a 4x6, 8x10, 3x5, wallet…..sizes

 

Needed Materials: Camera manual, Charged camera, Memory Card of pictures, Cable to connect to computer or Card Reader OR Storage device of pictures (CD, Flash drive…)
