The Center has many opportunities to share your time, talents, and skills. Volunteers can help weekly, only once a year, or any other number of times throughout the year. Below are just a few areas where volunteers are needed:
- Greeter: This is a watchful, friendly person at the front desk who is ready to assist those persons entering who appear to be unfamiliar with the Center. Provide tours of the Center as requested, assist with general office work.
- Hostess: Persons to keep our coffee and treat area neat. Shifts are typically 7 a.m.-10a.m. or 10a.m.–1p.m.
- Volunteer: Persons who enjoy doing handwork or simple sewing of handmade stuffed dolls & animals, such as cutting doll & animal patterns, making doll clothing, hand stitch faces on the dolls or animals. Work can be done at home then completed at the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program group gatherings, every Tues. at 9a.m.
